ONLY 0.005% POISON

One of the KJB detractors said:

"What I wonder is has anyone took a statistics class? This is my point on various versions of the TR to Teno. Did not mention this specifically, but I own three of the main ones used on Logos and can do comparisons and basically have about a .1% difference between the three."

I took a statistics class in college under professor Reino Ranta. Got an A in it. However, statistics do not always tell the story. .1% can be a huge amount.

Rat poison is 99.995% good, healthy, tasty rat food. It is only .005% poison (http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/12_01/RatNNP0612_468x627.jpg), but it kills the rat. How much more dangerous could a fake scripture be, with .1% poison, devised by Satan?

Here are some of the important of the differences between editions of the Greek Received Text:

Luke 2:22 - Erasmus and Stephanus have "their purification," while Beza and Elzevir, have "her purification" (their contradicts Lev 12:1-8).

James 2:18 - The last three editions of Beza has "without thy works," while Erasmus, Stephanus, and the first edition of Beza have "by thy works."

Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever
, sat down on the right hand of God;
or
Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, for ever sat down on the right hand of God;

Stephanus (and others) place a comma in the wrong position and force it to read as the Douay Rheims. With the comma in the wrong place - Jesus sits down FOREVER instead of His sacrifice lasting forever. Since Jesus STOOD at Stephen's death and will leave the right hand of God to return at His second coming it is a doctrinal ERROR to say He sat down forever.

There's your .1% rat poison.
