1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they
are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby
know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus
Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is
it in the world.
Here is a good way to tell if
something is of the spirit of God, or of Satan. If it doesn't confess that
"Jesus Christ is come IN THE FLESH", it is not of God but is of antichrist.
Let's see how they render 1 John 4:3. They may
get it right in other places - but if they don't get it right in the very verse
implementing the test - they fail before they start. If they get it wrong in
THIS verse - they remove the very criterion of the test and render the test
impotent for other verses.
NIV: but every spirit that does not
acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which
you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
No mention of Jesus Christ coming in the flesh.
The NIV FAILS the test. It is a false prophet
from the spirit of antichrist.
NASB: and every spirit that does not
confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which
you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
No mention of Jesus Christ coming in the flesh.
The NASB FAILS the test. It is a false prophet
from the spirit of antichrist.
RSV: and every spirit which does not
confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you
heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already.
No mention of Jesus Christ coming in the flesh.
The RSV FAILS the test. It is a false prophet
from the spirit of antichrist.
Many other of
the Soap Versions FAIL this test. We can conclude scripturally, that they are
not of God. They are false prophets from the spirit of antichrist. The soap ad
says 99 & 44/100ths pure. Scripture is 100%
pure.
Before you even think of looking up the
verse about the demons believing, it doesn't say they believe that "Jesus Christ
is come in the flesh" it says that they believe in "one God".
James 2:19
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe,
and tremble.
That is why that phrase "Jesus
Christ in the flesh" is so vital. Most Satanists believe in God, they just
oppose Him. Muslims believe in one God. Satanists and Muslims are not witnessing
the spirit of God. If you remove the phrase "Jesus Christ in the flesh", the
test is a worthless contradiction.
The KJB PASSES
the test. It is a TRUE prophet from the Spirit of God.
